That is possible for sure Red, random shit like that I seen happen. But I dont see why Treq would randomly chosen as a civilian to get taken out, he was anonymous and seemed like a rookie who followed whatever everyone else was doing (meaning can be played by Gs indirectly). That mainly makes that scenario bit harder to consider for me. Quite bit more possible that a random new guy who didnt post much like Treq, would get offed because he was found out to be the D.
I don't really believe it either. :D

Just reminding folk of the possibility.

Honestly, I think that was well done of him & also incredibly stupid of Treq. The fact that Treq was whacked does make it very weird, but why would Melo brag so much about knowing his role, if that gives away his own identity?

Again, you (not you, Osman :D) can't possibly be that clueless.

Here's the thing though. Before the forum went offline, there was still a pretty decent chance that Melo would end up beiung lynched. I was definitely not the only one voting for him.
Apparently, the forum was back online sometime yesterday, but I myself was not around yesterday. So protecting Melo by changing my vote if necessary was not an option...

And no, "..." doesn't mean I'm a G :D
I have no idea when you voted for Melo (you been bit low key, thread is too long, only know you voted for him), the tide changed some time early yesterday, and most of yesterday despite having votes it was quite clear he wouldnt be lynched.

Regarding Melo, yeah that part makes it weirder for sure, that he would play that ballsy card, but I seen different approaches to this game, and though its more smart to play it safe/cautious, which is most approach of Gs, there are also loose cannons who go all in with a risky behaviour (inflitrating the D, he PMed alot of people, me included, prolly looking for easy marks/special roles, IMO he hit the jackpot). The very fact we are even discussing he is not a G because of it says bit of the reward of such behaviour. JBF was similar to him. Outlandishly manipulative approach, that all the way through have people think he is less likely to be G the more crazy he acts.

No doubt this will draw unwanted attention to me, but let's not rule out the possibility (though slim) that the whacking of the detective was just luck on the part of the Gs.

Just because he was whacked doesn't guarantee anything untoward was going on.
That's why I asked Melo to prove that he had nothing to do with it, and it was in fact, coincidence. But Melo hasn't done anything to clear the doubt we have. All he's done is change votes.

He tries to explain things more than it's necessary at times. He's explaining to the others how Melo is a G(convincing people makes you suspicious). Buck gives an explanation for naming him and he accuse him of fitting in.

Osman for me.

I must admit I made the rookie mistake of showing Treq the PM Alen sent me.

I've been warned for that by Hoori and apologize for it.
Show me ONE POST of your BEFORE Treq got whacked where you claimed the same.

Nice timing :D Go ahead vote for me, but if the reason is because I questionning/analyzing what Buck says its bit lol, thanks for giving me reason to look closer at you. Thats what we are supposed to do (except Gs who know who all the civilians are), read eachothers behaviours, I found it odd that Buck repeatedly keeps saying that Melo is too obvious to be a G despite what happend last night, and asked him to explain himself.

So convincing people or sharing my thoughts makes me suspicious? Now lets start with you then Rab, lets hear what you have to say, what is your thoughts of Melo? What is your thoughts of how the detective got whacked last night? Random freak chance? Or because his role was found out 1-2 of the participiants. Which do you think is more likely? And what else do you find suspicious about me except posting what I think is going on?

I couldn't. Because me and Treq exchanged screenshots and trusted each other so we made a task-force. We couldn't let anyone know we did it.

Now that Treq (May his soul rest in peace) is gone, I have nothing to hide.
    Goddamnit! :wallbang:

I'd like to give you the benefit of doubt Melo. I really do.

I'll reconsider my vote later on. Thought I might keep it the same.

I need to get back to work. I'll join in again sometime later.

Melo's situation isn't 100% clear for me yet. He could be toying with us but yes I do think he wasn't being honest and direct at some points. It could also be that he wanted us to assume/think what his role was from the 1st day.

As for you, you're pretty good(in analyzing moves, roles etc), you're good that you're even making me now doubt my choice and I could change it before midnight and name someone else. I just felt you're hitting the flashlights at Melo so you could hide/stay in the dark and therefore we wont question your role.

Hey, I dont mind you suspecting/questionning me, aslong as you explain yourself, and we can discuss whatever angle you or I consider about eachother (either finding eachother more suspicious, or more interaction leading to thinking it less and less likely). But thats the thing, we need to talk/pressure/observe eachother to get anywhere (so far, just like in previous games, people are just voting, nothing more), you suspected me because I was questionning/analyzing Buck, paranoia I get to point, but unless your explain yourself and dont only say that, your reasoning can be viewed as bit convenient (if its just random finger pointing, its too easy for Gs to do that too, you find suspects/Gs by making them explain themselves and reading/seeing the inconsistencies in their posts, its way harder to put on an act then be genuinly oblivious/paranoid).

Regarding who hasnt voted yet, I'm more concerned about those who havent post yet or much, Janna, Klin, Suns, Motorhead, ESPECIALLY Curr, Dru and others who I even forgotten they are playing, because they barely posted (I would include you in this until your latest postsd). That in part is usually a very easy and lazy way for Gs to do thinks, just be total quiet and let Cs take eachother out. If we dont weed them out/put eachother on the spot, then that will only continue.

BTW, my vote against Osman was obviously sarcastic. Rab all of a sudden pops up like Jack-in-the-box and votes against someone who at least has some logical points to put forward. :disagree:

I hope you improve your game, Rab.
