One the left side I had pieces of paper with the name of a player written in each of them. On the right side I had pieces of paper with the roles.
I was drawing a name from the left side and right after that a role from the right side.

The gangsters were picked 3rd, 6th, 13th and 17th. All the others were civilians.

Thats an odd argument? Considering its randomized so anyone can get it, not based on experience, and majority of the ones sign up are first timers, so even if that was the case, a rookie would get it guranteed. Bit convenient of you to say that.
