If Juve doesn't win anything in the next 5 seasons and Chelsea wins 2 EPLs, those idiots are gonna say Chelsea is a bigger club than Juve :howler:

I had a good laugh...
I love this measure of success for Chelsea:

"Well, they won the Premiership ... and they spent a lot of money."

That's pretty much the Molinaro rule of "He tries so hard" applied to an entire club.
:lol2:

It's baffling how people deny this English arrogance. I mean, saying Chelsea is the better club now is one thing, but to say they're bigger than Porto throughout history... is just fucking nonsense.

But then again, the caller is correct with saying who else would play out there? Downing is overrated, Dyer is always injured, and Lennon does sometimes switch over to the other wing. The English have had a problem with that left hand side for God knows how long. They don't have any options out there, which stems from their lack of talent..
Joe Cole.

In reality the caller argued his points well and he was correct with pretty much everything. I would have to say Gerrard is 4th choice in central midfield, not because he's worse than the players there, but because he's better used further up the pitch.
Cole or Barry or even better. Don't play 4-4-2.

You can say Gerrard is 4th choice til you're blue in the face, but he is still world class and probably the best player on the England squad. The only reason he plays other positions is because he can and its usually best for the team. But for the caller to say Gerrard isn't a good player is dumb. Other than that I had no problem with his points. England's strength's are in their defense and the center of midfield. 4-4-2 doesn't really work if you don't have very good creative players on the wings as I'm sure you guys know. McClaren should have known better, even so the players should have played better.
