In a few years when Canna has retired and Inter have a great young keeper you might think differently :D
We'll worry about that in a few years time; meanwhile, let the clean sheets flow

IT'S NOT GOING THROUGH!

Transfer Ibrahimovic dreigt te mislukken

Transfer Ibrahimovic on brink of failure

31/8/2004 15:56

It only seemed a matter of time, but at the moment it seems that the chance is bigger that the transfer of Zlatan Ibrahimovic fails.
De eisen van Ajax zorgen voor oponthoud.
The demands of Ajax is the reason of this delay.
Ajax and Juventus have found each other in the fee of the transder, which is 16 million euro's.
The problem lays in the payment conditions, because the club from Amsterdam is demanding far-reaching warrenties.
And that seems to be the problem, because it's almost impossible for Juventus to settle these warrenties before the closing time of the deal.
Bla,bla, bla, bla Juventus is a reliable club, bla bla bla

In expectation of the results between the two clubs Ibrahimovic is waiting in Netherlands. Ajax has allowed the Swedish striker under pressure of Juventus to fly to Turin. The time is ticking.
because the Swede also has to under go an medical test in Turin and the Italian Association closes it 19:00 it's almost certain that the transfer is on a brink of collapse

Babelfish:

it seemed only one question of time, but provisional the chance is larger that the transfer of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Juventus does not continue. The requirements of Ajax ensure oponthoud. Ajax and Juventus have found each other in the altitude of the transfersom, which sixteen millions amount to euro. The problem lies more in the payment conditions, because the from Amsterdam club requires far-reaching guarantees. And the problem hides correctly there, because it is virtually impossible for Juventus the period set within meet those requirements. The prudence of Ajax has been motivated by the bad experiences a year ago. The transfer of Cristian Chivu to ASH Roma threatened, fail because the Roman club could not come concerning the bridge. Ajax wait still for a part of the redemption money. Juventus are considered however as a reliable club. Awaiting an agreement between the clubs zat Ibrahimovic in the Netherlands. Ajax have however given under very of Juventus the Swedish pointed authorisation to Turin to fly. The time starts, press because the zweed must endure still a medical testing in Turin. The Italian association office closes the doors at 19.00.

That the deal might nog go through. The problem is that Juve is not able to pay the 16million euros immediately, Ajax want some garantees. Ajax have had a bad experience in a similar situation with Roma. Juve are a club to trust though.

Ibrahimovic flew to Italy to take a medical anyway, he only has 'till 7 pm central european time(Paris etc.)
