azzuri7, just one question, i already posted it 2 pages back but got no response. do you find these players world class? keane, stoichkov, romario even totti? these are just a few of them, all of them were not "classy" on the pitch, not even off it, and still they are hailed as world class players, even football legends for that matter...my point, "class" is not a relevant issue, it's what you do with the ball and on the field that defines you a world class player. being a world class person/gentleman is nice and all but it's not neccesary to be a world class player. the examples above should prove that.

Even if we're talking about Zlatan, your posts show how much of a Del Piero fan you are. SO it is useless to continue the discussion, I've had it so many times before and made enemies on the forum. I'd rather stop.
Spot on!

Nobody said he did something off the pitch, Tho I heard alot, I'm not gonna act as If it happened. But again he has no Class on the pitch.
If Zlatan dident have class, he wouldent be playing for the biggest club in Italy !!!

Being a world class player means that u r one of the best players in ur position in the world,
it just includes the players u would call in an all star game,
Zlatan still needs some years and titles to win the world class status official but he isn t for from that as football player(quality)

class on what?
did Maradona had class?
as a sportsman and a symbol Totti def has no class,
but some of the things he does on the field(not the spitting and argueing with the ref, and teamates part) is class

Fair enough vltako. good points.

But the thing is that I sometimes feel that a player must have some respect.

And to be fair, since Zidane left, Juve fans have been complaining that we're boring and we don't do anything nice etc...now that we have a player who does the tricks and pleases the crowd with some nifty moves we complain that we have one.

I dont know why all of a sudden we are talkin about class and Im too laszy to look back.

I dont think DP has more class than Zlatan or vice versa.

But DP does play with More GRACE and ELEgance. When he dribbles and touches he looks like he's dancing and that is what made alot of us admire him.
Zlatan plays like modern day basketball players, alot of tricks and show but he lacks the gracefulness.

SO if u relate Gracefulness with Class, then perhaps u can say DP has more class, but if Class is related to performance or skill, then I dont think we can rate one above the other at the momment.

Hey Vonam with that post you just opened Pandora's box! :p We were not comparing Zlatan to DP, we were just discussing whether Zlatan is world class or not :D

that's your opinion but still i believe that is not relevant to this discussion. zlatan is still young, and he's a hot-head, but he'll mature with time. right now he's really temperamental, which is a good thing, you have more passion and will that way, but with time, and capello, he'll be able to restrain himself. than we'll come back in this thread for all of you to eat your words. :D :D
