I don't think I've stated Zlatan isn't our best forward. I just think that Zlatan's style of dribbling consists mainly of hitting down defenders.
Right, like that wondergoal against Ado Den Haag last season when he dribbled around their whole defense, or the spin against Lucio which led to DP's goal against Bayern. Try again Seven.

That has nothing to do with technique, Andy. What I mean is that his ball control or his dribbles are all pretty ordinary. He's not exactly Ronaldinho.

So what? You are making little sense. What Zlatan lacks in his "dribbling" skills he makes up for in his size and strength. His dribbles are not bad either as we have seen.

Zlatan is actually the player who's been getting the most freekicks this far in the season. So really think its the other way around in your post: If you can't or don't dear to stop him, just nock him down. ;)

I'm proud of him for not being a bias this far in the season. In MFF he would have hit somebody 50 minutes in to every game if he got as much shit as in Serie A. He sure has grown. :)

Yes it is arabic..I'm moroccan & it is syrian dialect so it's a bit tough to get though :D
Wow thats cool to see that there are moroccans and syrians on this forum :D

About Zlatan ...I think that you exagerate a little bit when you say that he's not a real striker ....
He scored 9 goals ! And thats really good for his first calcio season !
You will see that next season he will score more and more goals :D :D :D

Still, knocking down defenders doesn't mean you're technically gifted. Now I'm sure you guys will begin about that already famous goal he scored, but even there he didn't show that much technique. Technically he's not on the same level as Del Piero, Ronaldinho or Totti.

Whatever you say, Zlatan has supurb dribbling skills for a big targetman, and he has great ball control. You cannot take that away from him. I think it's funny you have to resort to comparing him to Totti and Ronaldinho; they are not even the same type of players! If he can get the job done, which he has many a times, who really cares about his technique. He sure is a monster for opposing defenders.

That's not exactly fair to Zlatan seeing as very few players on the planet can match Del Piero, Ronaldinho and Totti when it comes to technique.

His dribbling skills and ball control are good, he just has to work on his decision making as he is still trying to take on too many defenders at a time. I do agree with you that he is a monster as you opted to put it for opposing defenders though. It's amazing that a man of his physical stature is so good on the ball. Defending against someone with Zlatan's height and beastly strength is already difficult, but when you bring good ball skills into the equation he becomes a real nightmare for his markers. It takes sometimes three players to shut him down and his teammates should use this to their advantage because if multiple players are marking Ibra then someone HAS to be free.

Exactly Stuart. Once Zlatan learns how to use his skills to his AND the team's advantage, he will become an incredible forward. Opposing defenders will have no choice but to double up on him. Now, once Zlatan learns how to use himself in this way, and you throw a quick striker like Cassano or Bojinov in there, that will be unbearable for the opposing defenses.

Zlatan is definately our best striker at the momment and true to Nedved's word, he is actually playing better that Adriano lately. Hehehehe..

I guess u guys all see his potential and his obsticles, I just hope he learns fast.

One thing though, he does tend to be cynical at times, making some possible red card momments if he is caught.

Zlatan has a great potential , he is our top scorer with 9 goals , it is good for the first season , but we want him to improve cause we know he can do better than this:(

So? Shouldn't our best player be on that level?

Other thing he should work on... his heading ability cuz it is terribly bad comparing to a stricker of his size... one or two match ago he played the worst header I've ever see in my life... 10x worst than Ronaldo...
