JUVE ANXIOUS TO KEEP ZLATAN
Juventus president Giovanni Coboli Gigli has urged star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to remain with the club, despite interest from Milan giants AC and Inter.
Ibrahimovic is thought to be concerned about the prospect of playing in Serie B following the Turin club's relegation as a result of the match-fixing scandal, but Gigli is desperate to keep the Swedish forward.
Gazzetta Dello Sport claimed on Tuesday that Zlatan wants a move to the Rossoneri, but Juve's reported asking price of 40 million Euros could scupper a move.
And Gigli is hopeful that he'll stick it out in Turin as Juve bid to reclaim their place in the top flight.
"
Ibrahimovic needs to understand that even a year in Serie B can be stimulating," he said.
"
He is certainly worth a lot because he is a young champion with a lot of potential still in him, but I hope this value stays in Juventus and not just as a figure on the balance sheet."
Ibrahimovic scored a hat-trick on Monday night in a 9-0 win over a local side at the Juventus training camp in Pinzolo.

Well, I think seeing him as a figure on the balance sheet is much better...
