actually starting every game i believe helps zlatan build his confidence. when he arrived there was an interview win which he said that capello told him that he will be juventus' main striker or something of a sort. on one side, its terrible team building from capello's side, but on the other hand, in the long run, it will help zlatan grow as a player. so if we're stuck with him for years to come, that may turn out well. i dont like capello, i dont like zlatan, but so far the results are very good so, hey, im not complaing. yet i keep my right to call them names when i watch our pathetic displays. and i can guarrantee you, if any of the two would heaqr what i will call them tonight, i'd be dead meat tomorrow.

Im with Jeeks on this one. But I think Zlatan should have been dropped couple of games ago domestically so he could go all out in the C.L fresh, cos his last few games hes been ever so awful it makes me cringe just watching.

Fli, you said something very sound here, but don't you think this falls in teh benefit of Capello? He is building a player that he will take with him to any club he goes to. We all know Capello does not stick to one club and he takes his players with him. So instead of doing us any good, he is doing good only to himself by building Zlatan.

atm i do see capello staying with us for next season, no matter how many of us want him gone. the only way i see him leaving is if he wins the champions league. so i think its pretty safe to say that both zlatan and capello will be here next year. and if they're not, due to remarkable achievement of winning the biggest prize in football, i dont care who starts, it could be zalayeta and olivera for all i care.

Man, he won't get any confidence back by a shooting training, and he definitely won't get it back back by starting every fucking game. This is what I said. I mentioned how bad he was because these are his bad sides and his form is highlighting them more and more. It is about time he stays three or four games on the bench, warm up and not go in, he has to be humiliated so his big head of his gets broken down to earth.

Well u dident really replay my post but anyway, as u know i do agree that CAPELLO SHOULD drop Zlatan for some games starting with the milan match TONIGHT!! And then use him as a sub, so should he come in an score a goal or two, he should STILL be used as a sub for 4-5 games to come...
This way he will know that there are other top forwards at the club and he should fear for his place, and he should FIGHT for his place.. and this will make him performe even better...

The key is to prepare Del Piero and give him the rest needed to play him 90 minutes against Arsenal, If it requires that from the Milan Match, i would Bench Him tonight, and use him in the second Half.

Mutu and trezeguet against Milan would be the best IMO

I think its OK starting with Ibra-Trez WHEN ibra is on form. I'm not going to debate on who's better of ibra or dp, but ibra is usually pretty useless coming of the bench, while Del Piero can change the whole game coming in. Is ibra having one of he's best games he's vital to the team, if he's not del piero can just come in early in the second.

Although with Del Piero´s recent performances, I agree he doesn't deserve starting on the bench every game. Though I don't think its as bad coaching as people is painting it out to be.

does anyone have any stats on how many goals alex has scored coming off the bench and how many he scored when he was in the starting lineup..for this season?
i think he's been more effective from the bench.i could be wrong though.
