I read it was all-time greats, whether it was all-time greats or scoring machines is not very important to me, the important thing is Rossi acknowledges Zlatan after only one year.
it makes a massive difference, one is club legend status (which zlatan obviously isnt) where as the other is jus praising an aspect of ones play

No doubt it nice to see a player you like recognised, but by the quote being wrong... it is A, a lie as its not what he said and B, its massively disrespectful to the true legends of this club...

Zlatan may possibly become one in the future, but he isnt close to that yety and no right minded individual would say so... even rossi

Its not a lie because my sig says Greatest Juve forwards which basicly is greatest goal machines. I dont even think Rossi used the term Goal machines, thats just something 442 has rephrased, most journalists and soccerplayers arent as touchy as the fans. And if you find greatest Juve forwards to be disrespectful, greatest goal machines would be equally disrespectful. I can see you have a problem with my sig but there is nothing i can do about it because its not even my opinion, take comfort in that im going to change that sig soon anyway.

no. they are completely different things, a goal machine doesnt equate to a great forward...

He didnt say of all time either, so yes its a lie..

you should do some research into 442, all their interviews are direct with the player in question and all are checked and approved by all parties...

Not at all, they are different things with different meanings

I dont have a problem with your sig per se... I have a problem with you having a Missquote in your sig... If he said it, fine

True Juve fans must think like this:

1) DP is a legend of Juve, and he is still one of our best players.
2) Zlatan is on the right way to be one of the worlds best, and we are happy to have him at juve. I enjoy him really at juve. He has the potential to be a real super star and this brings more attention to juve from all over the world.

3) we must be happy to have 3-4 world class forowards at juve. it is clear that not all of them can allways start together. but as we see everybody gets his chance.

To me Greatest Juve forwards equal BEST goal scoring machines if it comes from a newspaper and it has someone else mentioning best midfielders and defenders. Thats what i mean, its just irrelvant technicalitys. And newspapers re-write allot with permission of the interviewes. I doubt Rossi would get hung up on Best Goalscoring machines and Greatest Forwards. I realize there is a difference but only fans who have another opinion care about stuff like this.

If it wasnt the case i bet they would let him name Greatest forwards too.

Forget it now, Sig is going to change tomorrow morning anyway.

I agree with everything except that Del Piero is still one of our best players(He is in top 10 IMO), The legend part goes without saying.;)

Does that mean im not a true fan in your eyes?

The question is: if Del Piero were to get injured for the rest of the season, would we miss him?

I think the answer to that is yes, but I'm sure people will disagree. :p
Even though Mutu could easily fill his place it would still be a loss for us seing that he has been very effective whenever he has played. What if two of our other strikers Like Trez or Zlatan would get injured as well then Del piero would definitly be missed. Stuck with Mutu and Zalayeta? No thx. No offense Zala but you work better as a sub then as a reguler.

Lets not specualte in injurys ok. Im a little supersticious.

How you can call Ibrahimovic one of the "greatest" Juve forwards ever is a joke quite frankly and an insult to the real greats our side had to offer. Zlatan will have to do a hell of a lot more if he wants to acheive legendary status at this club...with the players we have had in the past that is simply a neccessary statement.

I hope that makes everyone happy...and hopefully, they'll sleep better at night knowing this !!!;)
