Ibra set to pen extension

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed that he intends to extend his contract with Italian champions Juventus.
The Swede is currently tied to the outfit until 2008, but both parties are keen to renew that agreement until the summer of 2010.
Ibrahimovic is confident that will happen even though some whispers have suggested that talks may be complicated by financial issues.
"A lot of things have been said about my contract and it is time to put the record straight," Ibrahimovic noted.
"There are no problems and there is no rush either. I’m very happy with the situation because I feel well treated by Juventus."
Sources close to the club insist that talks between director general Luciano Moggi and agent Mino Raiola have already commenced.
It is believed that Ibrahimovic will put pen to paper on a new contract around Christmas time or in Spring next year at the latest.
The former Ajax sensation has been a massive hit at the Stadio Delle Alpi since his £11.5m transfer in August 2004.
He’s netted 18 goals in 56 games, but has provided numerous assists and put in some superb performances which have seen him win the approval of the Juve faithful.
"As time goes by, the more I realise how much I am in their hearts," continued the 23-year-old.
"I may seem a cold and distant person, but the affection of the fans is something that really warms me.
"Then there is the song that the Curva sing to me which I can’t get out of my head."
