well put cronios, i agree that messieur ibrahimovic does ruin chances a lot, but in a game where teams usually score 0-2 goals, most chances amount to nothing anyway, so ill take it bc of his outrageous goals and assists. And especially like u say, there is a good chance he'll learn when to do what, and then he might actually become as good as I and some others like to believe he already is!!!

i think this season so far his greatest contribution is as a decoy. right now noone in serie a gets more attention from opposing defenses, almost looks like doubleteaming in NBA basketball. Just glad they back off a bit so he can get lucky with passes to vieira and others :)

btw thx for the welcomes maresca, tonymontana and nawaf!

As for Seven, your points well written as always, but i was strangely disappointed. Had hoped for more amusing stuff, but keep em coming plz as long as its not just straight unnuanced DP vs Zlatan bc that gets tedious.

Let me begin with saying that it's not a quality post at all.

1) I'm not talking about wimping out. I'm talking about avoiding injuries. When you see Materazzi coming you know you're going to get injured. He could have at least jumped instead of turning directly towards Materazzi.

2) Am I saying it was wrong for Zlatan to try and win a free kick? No. I am saying however that he didn't position himself very well and that he could have passed the ball.

3) Zlatan scored two lucky goals, yes. But those two goals surely were not the reasons why Juve bought him. And Zlatan isn't that great technically, I'm not the only who notices it.

4) First of all one-touch football is great to watch and most coaches will want their players to play it. Not every challenge is the same, you know. There are degrees in it. As a pro you should be able to see which ones are going to hurt.

Lottery winner eyes Ibra swoop! Monday 10 October, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An unnamed lottery winner wants to sign Juventus forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic for his local Swedish football team.

The new millionaire, who scooped just over £9m, pondered the idea of netting the Sweden international for Second Division outfit Gute.

"We discussed the possibility of signing Zlatan for Visby club Gute," said Tommy Wahlgren, a spokesman for the Swedish lottery organisation.

The 36-year-old winner, who is unemployed, is a massive fan of the 23-year-old attacking talent.

Ibrahimovic joined Juve in August 2004 when a fee of around £11.5m was agreed with Ajax Amsterdam.

OK, on the one hand there are the people who don't like Zlatan and on the other hand there are the Zlatan-supporters and to be honest I belong to the supporters, but if somebody tell me that Zlatan isn't that technical great I can say that these people don't follow him or haven't seen him playing live.
For me Zlatan belongs to the players who are on the highest technical level!

I totally agree! Especially with a little less egotistical, cos you need to have a bit.
