I think he had some good seasons at bayern. While not being a world class defender he managed to be in a great for a log time. They even tried to hold on to him and they sure as hell miss him now and will miss him in the CL, cause in the BUndesliga they don´t really face any competition. As for being a starting player of our XI I doubt this, but I think he is a great player to rely on when we face injuries or bans.

They need the rest of the league to improve. Plus most of a club's revenue is made from TV contracts instead.

I just put Antonioli because he's free. I would prefer Marco Storari of Messina but not at any cost.
