some updates till now we've played 2 games and won both.

last week we played geno and won 3-2

Primavera: 3-2 against Genoa

The Juventus Primavera were victorious in their first official outing of the season, defeating Genoa 3-2. The Bianconeri took the lead through Venitucci and then showed great spirit after conceding two goals in succession. A penalty from Maniero and a third goal from Rodriguez decided the result, securing a precious victory for Chiarenza’s boys in preparation for next Saturday’s test against Livorno.
“It was a hard-fought victory – revealed head coach Vincenzo Chiarenza – Genoa are a good side, but we did well after going a goal down, fighting right to the death”.

yesterday we played livorno and won 2-0

Primavera, 2-0 against Livorno

With goals from De Ceglie and Maniero, the Juventus Primavera eased to a second victory in as many games in the TIM Cup, ensuring maximum points in the group stage. Coach Vicenzo Chiarenza had this to say about the victory: “We played well, especially in the first half. Less so after the restart, with heavy rain a factor. Never the less, I saw a lot of progress with respect to the game against Genoa”. The Primavera are back in action next Saturday at Vinovo, taking on Pro Sesto, co-leaders at the top of the Bianconeri’s group with six points.

    Primavera: 3–0 at Palermo

Things are looking good for the Juventus Primavera in the Coppa Italia. At Vinovo this afternoon, Chiarenza’s boys gave themselves a strong chance of progressing to the final round with an emphatic 3-0 win over Palermo in the first leg of their semi-final. The result also bodes well for the Torneo di Viareggio, where the Bianconeri have been paired in the same group as the Sicilians. Today’s result was never in doubt, with Cuneaz’s strike in the 32nd minute followed moments later by a fantastic goal from Giovinco. Jueventus kept their foot on the gas in the second half and, after a string of clear-cut chances soon after the break, Maniero headed in a Cuneaz corner to make it three.

Buoyed by their hefty advantage, the Bianconeri will be confident of booking themselves a place in the final when they travel to Sicily for the second leg on the 28th February.

    Three is a magic number

The Juventus Primavera made it three in a row this afternoon, dispatching Pergocrema in round sixteen of the championship. After 3-0 wins over Palermo (Coppa Italia) and Pro Sesto (last weekend), Chiarenza’s boys repeated the trick once more with goals from Bianco 38’, Rodriguez (pen.) 71’ and Cuneaz 80’. While they wait for Sampdoria to play on Saturday, the Bianconeri can now enjoy an eight point lead at the top. The form of Giovinco and Co. couldn’t be more electric as they prepare for their opening game at the Viareggio tournament against defending champions Juventud of Uruguay (Tuesday 6th February).

Here’s how things currently stand in the Primavera championship: Juventus 38, Sampdoria 30, Atalanta 29, Torino 28, Genoa 24, Albinoleffe 21, Pro Sesto 18, Parma 17, Piacenza 16, Spezia 12, Pergocrema 10, Modena 9, Legnano 6.

    De Ceglie scores for Italy

Called-up to Pierluigi Casiraghi’s Under 20 side once more, the young Juventino scored the first of the two goals which put Austria to the sword in the “Four Nations” tournament at Viareggio. Sebastian Giovinco and Riccardo Maniero also made appearances in the second half.

Riposa Pro Sesto.
