I'm not denying that its expensive, but for example we paid €7.5 for half Criscito's contract. And Mascherano's asking price is 17 million sterling, which is €22.1million, so considering the market, its not horrible

Sissoko Deal Done, Official Confirmation On Sunday

Juventus have agreed a deal to sign Momo Sissoko from Liverpool for €13m and the transfer will become official this Sunday, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

zoom - galleria The 23-year-old midfielder has been strongly associated with the Bianconeri for several weeks now, with the only question seemingly being whether he would arrive in Turin this month or in June.

Sissoko will touch down in Turin on Sunday, where he will complete a routine medical, complete the final signature, before flying back to Ghana for the African Cup of Nations, where he is representing his country Mali.

Theoretically Sissoko is already a Juventus player after an agreement was reached yesterday over both a transfer fee and wages.

Juve will pay Liverpool €13m, with €11m being paid immediately, and another €2m after a set number of league and cup appearances.

Sissoko has agreed a four-and-a-half-year contract, with an option of an extra year after this. The player will receive a healthy €2.5m a year, which works out at just under €50,000 a week.

Juventus have been desperate to sign a centre midfielder this month following the disastrous performances of Tiago Mendes and Sergio Almiron, who were signed for a combined €22m last summer.

Sissoko had the chance to join the Old Lady last summer but he rejected the transfer in favour of signing a new contract at Liverpool.

This season he has barely featured for the Merseyside-based club, and it seems he has had a change of heart over a move to Italy’s most successful club.

In simple words we are FUCKED!!! 11m€ now, is Secco playing joke on us?? And the diel for Tiago is on hold, couse he is request better wages... I hope Tiago stays and we can't afford to buy SHITSOOKO...

Please stop this nonsense... first of all "only 5 million" is just bs. Thats like 140% the price of sissoko. not just "only 5 ml". Then; with your calculation of 17ml, you won't ever ever get diego (neither VdV i'd say). you'd need AT LEAST 25 ml, which is more than double the price of sissoko. then there comes the salary of the player which i'd consider higher with VdV and Diego than with sissoko... so please...

VdV next year can buy him self out of contrect with HSV for 1m€...So ye, we could get him for 17m€ now...OK...Diego is another matter...
But know we splash out 11m€ for some shity player...who is going provide us with nothing , no passing skills, technic, driblings, thinking power...
For that kind of money i'll buy Cagirini (7m€) and still have 4m€ in heand...

I don't think there is any other Konko. This is also the same guy that Nedved got banned for some games for hitting at the beginning of the season

I wanted to ask, is he that bad?I remember that he was in the Italian U-21 team
i remember him playing for us once, when he came off the bench against Inter due to an injury, and he had kept Adriano quiet, when he was at the peak of his Inter career.

I thought he was promising, but they loaned him out and we've never seen him again

Oh the guy who subbed someone in the 0-1 defeat in Delle Alpi in 2005??
I was trying to remember who was and I thought that he was Marchisio...

I know it's useless to repeat something we all know, actually the whole world knows: WE DON'T NEED SISSOKO!!! We need defender, a good one not average just to fill the void Boumsong left.

What we gonna do when/if we sell Tiago, that would mean we sold two midfielders (crative ones, or supposed to be) and brought only one (yet another DM) and Marchionni is now injured. Is it only me but I can see the same crisis with midfield like we have nov with defense.

Sure the defensive area has big problem. We accept goals almost in every game and both of the goal that inter scored yesterday came from mistakes by our defence. Sure Juve now is more attacking team in comparison with the past years but this had as result to be our defence more weaked now.
