Ranieri aka Stinkerman: "I expect Mellberg and Sissoko very soon, Momo is the 1st missing piece of the puzzle".

He's in love with that guy.

FIRE HIM NOW WITH SECCO AND CIE!!!

This probably means the end of Nocerino, and possibly, the end of VDV's transfer.Im all for the Mellberg deal.If anyone should arrive in January,it should be him.But Sissoko..

I hope Ranieri's succesor(And i hope there is one) cancels the deal when he takes over in June or whenever.

I don't.But we paid almost nothing for him if i'm not wrong, and it seems that we will spend around 10 millions for Sissoko
So, if Sissoko performs very good for us, what would you say then?

This probably means the end of Nocerino, and possibly, the end of VDV's transfer.
OK, care to explain me how would Sissoko mean the end of Van der Vaart?

There's something in the world known as Money. Its used for buying things. When you spend 10m of it on shit, you dont have enough of it left to spend on something good. Also, when your manager promises you one world class player, and when he's having orgasms over a certain Liverpool reject, you know pretty well which supposedly world class player he's talking about.

I really think Sissoko gets too much crap here, he's not that bad and he's only 22. The fee is not small but there's one thing Ranieri knows how to do...and that's discovering potential in players. I never liked Ranieri much but he's discovered some fine talents in his career. Who knows, Sissoko may become a great player for us.

And surely Sissoko doesn't mean the end of VDV.

I dont think Sissoko is a much of an inspiring signing either because he would be decent but not improve us, but yeah as the above poster said, gets way too much hate. He might cost too much considering our needs, but he wouldnt cost that much that he would waste half our budget or something.

So its weird you think buying him for 8-10m means we cant sign the likes of VDV. You realise they are mentionning our budget to be around 65m? Plus if its a January signing, they have hinted at that the January transfer kit is seperate from the one in the summer.

I wouldnt want him either, but lets keep things to perspective and not go overboard. Is decent DM with big presence, me personally I dont want him mainly because his football skills are crap, he would win alot of balls but cant pass for shit so he would lose too much balls being overconfident or too hyped up. Isnt calm like a Makelele who just passes to the closest man.

Sissoko does get more crap then he deserves, but frankly,he doesnt give us anything more than Nocerino does, other than the fact that he's better known than him.If we were getting Mascherano, then yes,you could understand it because he's a top class player, but this is Sissoko. He MAY be an improvment over Nocerino, but its nothing to write home about.

One,you'd tick off Nocerino as Sissoko would be a direct threat to him.

Two,you arent getting that good a player to replace him,if that's what the board has in mind, because Nocerino is the one who'd have to go if Sissoko arrives.Surely, the board wouldnt be stupid enough to sacrifice Zanetti for him.And even if Nocerino and Zanetti do stay in the squad...why on Earth would we need three DMs?

We paid 4 million Euros to buy his other half out from Piacenza if I am not mistaken.

I've already come to terms with the fact that Sissoko is coming our way. I don't know what Ranieri's obsession with Sissoko is. I think it would be a stupid mistake to get him this transfer window when there are so many other positions that need to be filled. He doesn't bring much else to the table that we are in need of. He is not the 'first missing piece of the puzzle." Ranieri is useless as well as Secco and our management. I can't wait until something is done about that.
