In short, these are the reasons why we dont want him:

1- he'll cost 10-15 mill, while we can use this money in a better deal like VDV for e.g.
2- Tiago will leave
3- No place for Marchisio next year
4- We wont sign a real experienced DM unless we'll play 3-6-1
5- Dont forget what he said about Juve this summer, even when he wants to join Juve he says because he wants to play, and Ranieri is a Gentleman, he doesnt even try to show some respect
6- Still he may (or most probably) flop

I think our main priority in January should be a defender and a play maker, because Nedved (as much as I respect this man) isnt that super WC player anymore, and with Camo's absence, we cant create enough chances, and that what happened last game

Sissoko cant pass he cant run and he cant tackle without drawing a foul. Our last hope was that Tiago put in a good display against Catania so we wouldnt have to sign him but unfortunately that failed miserably so it looks like the boards gonna throw 15mil euros on another midfield failure. Tiago and Almiron were actually good before they joined juve imagine how Sissoko will end up.

Maybe it would have been opposite with him... But looks like we'll never know, the board have raised their nhands from him. Pressure from the public I gues:pumpkin:

Sissoko, who has fallen out of favour with current Liverpool incumbent Rafa Benitez, looked likely to complete his move to the Serie A side after admitting on Thursday that a conclusion to the deal was “very close”, with his manager adding that The Reds were just waiting for the “right club and the right offer” before the 22-year old could leave Anfield.

Even Rafa Benitez admitted that he was trying to find a solution for the Mali international after the 1-1 draw against Middlesbrough.

It was widely believed that Juventus’ manager Claudio Ranieri was keen on the athletic midfielder, but it now appears that they have withdrawn their interest and are satisfied with the squad they have available at the club.

Said Cobolli-Gigli: "Juventus will not make any acquisitions in the January transfer market. It's normal to dream of big players but, in order for dreams to come true, we need to wait for the right moment.”

While the Mali international’s ambition to play for the Italian side may have collapsed, he certainly won’t b e short of suitors if he does exit Merseyside, with reported interest from former club Valencia among others.

As for Juventus, the debate is on about Ranieri's continued support for Tiago Mendes, which is supposed to be the reason for the refusal to sign Sissoko.

The player is now being linked with Inter, who are also expected to sign Maniche on Monday.

no signings? so this means no VDV or defenders... i can understand that VDV may not go mid season and that he would be a summer signing (that is if we sign him at all)

but we must get a defender..atleast a loan defender. If Legro get's injured we are fucked. Boumsong can't be relied on.

we can get him for free if he doesn't re-sign with Arsenal.

Sissoko might be just some disturbance from the merdazzurri to up Sissoko's value and make us buy that useless player for Juve for much more $$$.
