JUVE CHIEF PLAYS DOWN SISSOKO LINK

Juventus' interest in Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko appears to have cooled after the club revealed they were unlikely to make any January signings.

Sissoko said on Thursday he was "very close" to joining the Turin giants while Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez admitted the Merseysiders were waiting for the "right club and the right offer" for the 22-year-old.

Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli said: "Juventus will not make any acquisitions in the January transfer market.

"It's normal to dream of big players but in order for dreams to come true, we need to wait for the right moment to come along
."

Mali international Sissoko has admitted he is unsettled at Anfield after struggling to win a regular place this season. His former club Valencia are also reportedly in the hunt for his signature.

Speaking before Saturday's 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough, Benitez said: "I was talking with 'Momo' about leaving a few times, and with his agent.

"We know we have two or three clubs asking about him and we will try to find the best solution for him and for us."

Predictable. Get rid of him now, he is one of the most idiotic people ever. Our club is being humiliated by what he is saying.

When is the right moment? When we are 6th in Serie A in May time, like Vinman said?

Inter To Enter Race For Sissoko?

Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini dropped a large hint that he may make a move for Liverpool’s want-away midfielder Mohamed Sissoko.

Prior to Mancini’s revelation, Inter’s rivals Juventus seemed favourites to capture the Mali international.

, Juve’s president has tightened the purse strings and told manage Claudio Ranieri that no new players will arrive in January.

"Juventus will not make any acquisitions in the January transfer market," said Giovanni Cobolli Gigli.

"It's normal to dream of big players but in order for dreams to come true, we need to wait for the right moment to come along."

But now Inter may be ready to steal a march on Juventus and sign Sissoko as Mancini seems to be a fan of the midfield enforcer.

"Sissoko? I think despite his young age he has big qualities and I think he could be an important player for whoever will be able to sign him," said Mancini to Sky Italia.

Whether it is Inter, Juventus or any other club, what seems to be beyond change is the departure of Sissoko from Liverpool, for Reds boss Rafael Benitez recently informed the press that he is in constant discussion with his unhappy player about a transfer.

"I was talking with 'Momo' about leaving a few times, and with his agent.

"We know we have two or three clubs asking about him and we will try to find the best solution for him and for us”, said the Spaniard.

Sissoko isn't done yet!

But yeah, the depth they have is scary. Now they are winning with ease without key players, so when they come back to full fitness, there isn't much which will stop them.

No it is not the problem that he comes out Mali. I don't like his words that he say that Liverpool is a bigger club than Juventus. Now he is at the bench at Liverpool and he will come to Juventus. Mascherano is also a better passer than Sissoko. Also his soccer qualities i found better than Sissoko. It have nothing to do that i want to discrimante because i hate that!
