I can't argue with that.

I'm going to wait until the end of Jan. if we get VDV, then sweet (or atleast secure him for sure for the summer) If we get Sissoko on loan, then meh. I 'd rather give Almiron another chance to prove himself, but I won't complain.

If we buy Sissoko I'm going to be angry..alot. if we buy him for anything more than 4 million than I'm going to join the managment haters club.

If the reported 15 million are true then I have start to question the managment's sanity. We we could (supposedly) secure Ivanovic or VDV for that amount. And both of those could be the extra edge this squad needs.

So in very simple sentences, why do you guys hate him?
- He's redundant. (Zanetti and Nocerino are capable DMs that offer just as much as Sissoko, and are already groomed to the Italian game)

- He's overpriced.

- He diverts money away from necessary transfers

- He'd be the posterchild of the new management... aiming high and shooting low. Instead of poaching a star in Mascherano, they opt for someone's flop.

and most importantly...

- He's not that good. He's not horrible, but he doesn't take Juventus to the next level, and for 15m Euro+, they better.

Last summer we were close to getting him, we had an offer by Liverpool accepted, but he rejected us, saying "Liverpool are bigger than Juve". This reasons is the primary reasons I think that we decided not to sell Nocerino (and Nocerino has proven to be very useful for us)

So come the start of the current seasons, Sissoko finds himself on the fringe in Liverpool, so he starts complaining. Now the media are linking with us. He says that playing for us would be great" :pumpkin:

but the real problem isn't all that, it that Sissoko is pretty much a duplicate of Nocerino. He offers us nothing Nocerino and Zanetti don't. And if the rumors of the 15 million are true, then that's what people are having trouble with: Spending 15 million on a fringe player that gives us nothing. It's like buying Caillas for 40 million when you have Buffon. It just doesn't make sense.

I'd hate to have him at Juve. Didn't hear what he said about the Liverpool being bigger stuff.
See, I'd even ignore that and chalk it up to a guy knowing he's not getting sold in the summer trying to kiss the ass of his manager and team to sneak into the starting 11 once in a while.

Its the fact that he's expensive, not good or needed that annoys me.

Hello guys ....

i see here how u all feeling bad about this deal, if it's really finished, but why ?

next year we have CL, we need some one as DMF that offer a lot more than

Nocerino, we can't depend on Nocerino , also, Sissoko has the talent for sure,

remeber how Cannavaro case, Zanetti ...

we need Sissoko for the CL but sure not by 15 M

From what I've seen from Sissoko, he's the same player as Nocerino... talented, but incomplete. Sissoko means no room for Marchisio, essentially... and that's not a good thing. Marchisio is not quite as defensive, but can hold the ball and pass 10x better than Nocerino or Sissoko. Capello demonstrated how one dimensional midfields can easily be overcome by talent and aggressive styles in the CL.

The fee bothers me the most. If it was under 5m euro, I could probably grow to accept it.

Thats exactly the point. I'm not going to say that Tiago is that man, as I want him to prove himself. But sure as hell, we need to make a note of players who can ping the ball to our wingers (I hope we get another one of these too) and to our attack, for the summer market is case Tiago is not what is needed. Zanetti, Marchisio, Nocerino, Almiron, Marchisio. If R.Vaart comes we sort of have that player, but if we fail (highly expected by me) we need to get a similar distributor.

He's def better than Zanetti though and I'd rather have him than Nocerino.

He's not better than Zanetti. He is on the same level as Nocerino. you really can't say you'd rather have him than Nocerino when Nocerino is already here, and Sissoko costs money to bring (alot of it if the rumors are true)

In which way? It terms of popularity or prestige or titles? I don't really care though, as everyone is entitled to an opinion...my problem is that Sissoko's comment was uncalled for. He could have easily said something like "
Juve's a great team, but I would rather prove myself in this great club"
But noooo he decides to be a prick and now he's rotting on the bench saying how it would be great to join us.

15 mil for sissoko? man fuck off we should rather get mascherano than a 5th choice pool player. no need for him at juve!
this is why i don't like ranieri as a coach he has no clue about transfers same goes for secco...
lets buy 3-4 more DM's...

First point, wrong. Second point, sort of. Both are too young though, not really hit their peaks. I'd like to see what Nocerino has to offer, if he performs like he did vs Milan more often.
