Legrottaglie Ready To Redeem Himself At Bologna
1/20/2005 3:17:00 PM
The former Juventus player wants to prove to his critics that he is not a finished player.
Nicola Lergottaglie’s season with the Bianconeri is over as he joined Mazzone’s Bologna on loan. The former Chievo player went through a terrible year in which he was considered the main culprit for Juve’s failure last season.

However the player now wants to redeem himself and is glad to have joined Bologna in order to prove his worth.

“I’m here to be back in the game and redeem myself after so many criticisms and after being left out for a long time.

“I wanted to leave Juventus so to be able to play and when I heard from my agent that Bologna were after me, I immediately told him to put them on top of my list: I respect Mazzone and the managers; this shirt has always interested me.”

It's a good move.

If he plays well,we can either sell him for a higher price, exchange him with Meghni or keep him in the team.

If not,we could always just sell him next summer, after all his price can't get much lower than it already is.

Situation 1: Legro improves to his old form and comes back to us as a backup defender.

Situation 2: He stays how he is (shit) and we sell him for 2 cents, like we would have done anyway.

Can't lose IMO

So overall we r still in an advantage, loaning Legro to Bologna is 1 of the cleveriest moves come up by Moggi. We can judge on Legro's skills in Bologna and deceide wat to do with him den.

I don't think that you can adequately judge his ability when playing for Bologna. He was great for Chievo, then sucked here. Who says he won't be good for Bologna, then when we bring him back, he'll suck again?

Legro will remain in Bologna irrespective of what he does with them. The reason we put him there was down to the fact that we'd get first option on Meghni, and not because Legro doesnt have the desired level of game in him.
