right anyway, back to the point of this thread (Salihamidzic) i think we have signed a very good player for next season, he seems to be consistant, there is no question that he is a hard worker and he is also a quality player. A man like this will boost morale in the dressing room and can only be a positive for our football club.....

FORZA SALI!!!!!!! :pint:

LMAO. Yeah he's so good that he's never won an African player of the year award. You know the award that's given for good CONSISTENT players like Eto'o and Drogba.

DO I need to watch him to determine his good or not? No. He's what? 31? And which major club (or decent club) in a major league has he played for? no offense to Anderlecht, but there is a big difference between Anderlecht and Juve. He's won 2 African nations cup with Egypt. Congrats to him for his success with the Egyptian team but that's it. Ali Deai has the highest international goal record after Pele and Ronaldo. Does that mean that he's good enough to play for Juve instead of Trezeguet or good enough for Milan to play instead of Shevchenko? NO.

and don't even try to compare Del Piero to him. Del Piero was consistent enough to have stay in Juve for more than 10 years, help them win many titles become a club idol and captain the club. He's had his downs but that's more to do with his injuries that set him back than him being inconsistent as a result of loss of form.

end of discussion.

Dude, you are pulling the whole thing out of context ! I didn't say we missed out on the new Zidane or the new Baggio, I said that he would have been an awesome free transfer and i'm still sticking with that.

Nonethless you still don't have a clue who you're talking about. You don't even know that he's a midfield player for fucks sake

And the consistency thing is shit. He's a good player with awesome vision. Fullstop. Surely he has good and less good games, like every human being. He had offers from Spain and England btw but he wanted to go to Anderlecht for the CL and because he had never won a title before.

En plus, Belgian competition can get compared with serie B. Both are physical competitions. He's a technical player but he does great in a physical competition. But obviously serie A would suit him more.

I'd rather dump it in your mouth

but I'll play along. Since YOU have no idea what your talking about. Playing good in 8 matches is called being in form. Playing good althrough or almost all through a season is called being consistent. Zidane was given the best player awrad in the WC when he was invisible in almost all matches besides 2-3 matches. He also came second or 3rd during the FIFA awards yet he was out of form all throughout the year. So being awarded something is not a reflection of your overall quality. It just means that you stood out in a tournament. Greece won Euro 2004 does that mean their players are the best in all Euro?

and since you seem to not believe me about Mido being an ass. Here why he is an ass:

He fell out of favour with not one, not 2 but 3 coaches because mostly of his behaviour. And he assaulted another player on his team. Doesn't sound very professional to me. I would have really like him at Juve has it not been for his professional attitude problems though.
mido sucks end of, roma only bought him because they were annoyed they lost out on zlatan to us so mido was the 2nd best thing for them, as it turned it, the transfer worked as well as custard on steak

hes really consistant which is another positive, not consistantly excellent but consistantly good. I'm unsure whether or not he will be a starter, we will have to see what moves we make in mercato but hes certainly good enough to start for us ATM

Yes. He can replace Nedved at the left as he has high workrate.

-----------------Del Piero----Trezeguet-----------------
--------------------------Nedved--------------------------
--Salihamidzic-----------------------------Camoranesi--
---------------------------?????----------------------------
Chiellini/Balza---?????---------??????---------Grygera
---------------------------Buffon---------------------------

We really need better central defenders in A and a really good DM !
Nedved in the center as you don't lose class and he's once again a year older, so less running.

I like ur formation but other than the questions marks to fill i dunt think camo and trez will be with us the coming season, trez might have pledge his loyalty but unless he gonna sign a new contract i dunt think the management is willing to lose him for free when the contract expires.
