Salihamidzic reveals Juve deal
Tuesday 16 January, 2007

Bayern Munich midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic has announced that he will play for Juventus next season.

The 30-year-old is contracted to the Bundesliga side until June and will sign a four-year deal with the Turin outfit at the end of the present campaign.

“Juventus have convinced me and I will arrive at the end of the season,” the Bosnian international told Bild.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to wear this jersey. Even if Juventus will not play in Europe next term, they remain one of the most fascinating sides in Europe and one of the best in the world.

“Everyone knows Juve, they have an impressive history and despite the fact that they are going through a difficult moment, they have some great champions in their squad.

“I don’t think that the absence from the Cups will last more than a year. In any case, next season I will be playing alongside some fantastic players.”

A deal is understood to have been wrapped up after his agent Nusret Jashari met sporting director Alessio Secco on Monday morning at the club’s headquarters in Corso Galileo Ferraris.

The Bosnian can play on either flank and is considered a possible replacement for Mauro Camoranesi, should the world champion decide to move to another club.

“This move represents a new challenge for me and I am sure I will win it,” continued Salihamidzic.

“Their offer was a very good one, they convinced me immediately and I am glad I will have the chance to play in the Italian championship.”

The Bosnian, who joined Bayern Munich in 1998 from Hamburg, has won six German titles with the Bavarian side, as well as the Champions League in 2001.

Damn, he´s ugly. :D
:p

Who cares ?
Lets hope Braco still has it. He was instrumental in many Bayern's bundesliga winning seasons, he was instrumental in their CL winning season, and despite being 30, he's a kind of player who can be useful for at least 3 or 4 more years ( Nedved type).

Welcome Braco !
