basically kaneria has to improve on these spinning tracks.tanvir and sami have been very predictable
i dont think apart from shoaib akhtar anybody has troubled india.

Sohail Tanvir looked good.Sami generated some decent pace as always.Kaneria was a dissapointment however.The main weakness in the Pakistani lineup is the inconsistent batting,which has been the case for eons.We've always relied on our bowling more than our batting.Younus and Yousuf need to fire,along with Shoaib Malik.Misbah was the only one who did well in this match.But im pretty they will perform better in the next 2 matches.Wether they win both matches or not is another story,but Pakistan usually needs a kick up the ass in the first match to do well in the following matches.

if younis and yousuf dont fire arent there other batsman how do u expect to do well when it is know kolkata and banglore wickets will be flat and help the spinners and if kaneria doesnt do well i dont think paksitan bowling will help win the other two matches

It was built as Indian Batsmen vs Pakistani bowlers,and thats what it turned out to be.Pakistan bowled well,but the batting let us down.Id be very content with a bowling performance like the one we had in this match.What needs to improve is the batting.

No basically i mean that every team has batsmen that form the heart of the lineup and in our case that very heart is formed by Younus and Yousuf.Just because they dont fire doesnt mean that the entire battingline wont play well,but it does mean that there will a lot more pressure on the other players.India relies on Tendulkar and Dravid.If they fail,it doesnt mean that India will fail.But there's a reason why the wickets of these players are considered big wickets.Its because they are the best batsmen in either team,and they have the ability to dictate an entire batting performance on their own terms.
