Yeah emersons was certainly a blunder but to be honest I think that was more of capellos choice and to say how desperate capello was to have his lover. I think we paid some money for cannas deal and it was part exchange for carini going the other way. At the time of getting canna, there was no rumours regarding it and if im right it was teh last day of the window when all of a sudden we were shocked when we found out Juve had got Canna. He did some great deals, but yeah moggi was a loose nut unfortunately.

To hear news like that, you just feel a little helpless. But from a practical standpoint, Juve has actually come off the better in that deal. Emerson will be past it this season. He doesn't have the pace for Spain and Cannavaro, the champion that he is, deserves to play at this level. I doubt he'll win anything at Madrid, but at least he'd have had the two most successful clubs in the world on his resume by the time his career winds up. Nothing but respect for Canna. The fact he held Juve's midfield together last season is the reason we played such boring football. Four or five years ago Emerson was a player you could use in fast free flowing football. These days he holds everything up. He's good defensively, but his age is getting in on him.
