Blazaretti said today that if Juve had the intention of loaning/selling him to another team he wouldn't have come. So you can say that he's staying with Juve and will replace Birindelli.

I saw what Balza said to Tuttosport.

I think Abbiati said that he's surprised to be a Juve player but happy at the same time.

That is what I was expecting. Balzaretti just seemed like the perfect player to take the role of either Pessotto or Birindelli, a defender who can fill in on either side of the back four. I don't think this neccessarly means Chiellini will leave Juventus, however we do have a lot of players that can play left-back now...perhaps Birindelli will be sacrificed while injured.
