Do you guys think Osvaldo's chances might be hurt by the fact he went to Southampton? I would rather see Di Natale in place of him or Gilardino. And Del Piero or Totti instead of the other one.

Balotelli, El Shaarawy, Insigne, Di Natale, Del Piero/Totti. Probably won't happen but...

I don't think so. If he keeps scoring he's gonna get called up for sure.

As for the veterans I only expect Di Natale and Totti to fight for a spot. There's no way Del Piero will get the chance.

Prandelli mentioned it in the media, so now there's a lot of hype about it. I don't think he'll return, though.

I agree that neither Del Piero nor Totti would likely return, it's just a pipe dream really :D But in all honesty, either of those is better than Gilardino. For Osvaldo, it depends on how he does this season definitely, if he has his head on right then sure but not if he has the attitude that he did at Roma.

It's not like Prandelli has a lot of strikers to pick from. Even if he has crappy attitude and bangs goals this season I think he'll take him to the WC, as he's the only pure striker.

Again I agree that's what will likely happen, just saying what I would personally want if it were at all possible for the vets to return. Then again, Prandelli had no problem dropping him for the Confed Cup, though the WC is a much more important competition so I doubt he would take a risk like that there.

wow I am so offended, you seem to get overly butthurt pretty easily though.

how can you even call Prandelli scrub if he got them to final of euro 2012 against all odds and they were the first european team to qualify for WC?
