TBH, Italy played for a draw.
I don't think so ...
i guess donadoni just tried to not concede a goal and which for luck up front...

watching the game it might had worked... some of our chances could have been a goal and then everybody would have talked about the brilliant tactic to shutdown spains quick passes and strike deadly on the counterattack...

what I can't understand is with all the creative talent in the team he chose Perrotta to play behind Toni and Cassano??? that was a truly daft idea

How do you explain Italy's failure to produce any attack when he was taken off the field during the romania game? How do you explain Italy comming to life after his introduction in the holland game? I am not saying he was terrific, but he was definately the best choice up front.
Geez man, you never give up.
Lets play your game then,
How do you explain Italy getting their only win on this euros when Del Piero didn't play at all ?

Del Piero should have played, not some anonimous Di Natale, no argument about that. Del Piero should have been used properly, not the way Donadoni was using him. No argument about that either.

But all of us expected Alex to finally light a big tournament on fire and he didn't do anything even close to that.
He wasn't given a proper chance, yes. But when he played he didn't do anything at all and that's what hurts us.

But we're objective enough to admit it while you never ever admited that Del Piero had a bad match. You always say he's been very good and he was the MOM.
That's really annoying, even for the Juve fans who love Del Piero.

Italy's loss is not Donadoni's fault. You can't blame a medicore coach for mediocre tactics. It's like asking your dog to drive a car, and then blaming him when he hits another car.

This was all the FIGC fault. How do you go from a world class coach like Lippi, to giving it a young medicore coach like Donadoni shows complete lack of ambition. It should have been either Capello or Ancelotti who got the job.

FUCK U TONI
FUCK U DI NATALE
FUCK U AMBROSSINI
FUCK U PERROTTA
FUCK U DONADONI
AND camo and dp are even shit
:disagree:
well fuck Italy they're Juve players and u should not insult them
Exactly.Criticize instead, that won't make you look like a complete dumbass at least.
its time for the team to be remade and revolutionized
That's exactly what we need right now.The new coach should show players like Materazzi&Panucci the exit door.Average players like Ambrosini,Perrotta,Di Natale etc. should just stay far away from the Azzurri.

First of all, congratulations to Spain.I don't think they were superior but they had the luck which you need at times(Italy 2006).

Italy played superb defensively but the offense was horrible. With offense I mean the midfield aswell. There wasn't any creativety at all due to Donadoni's weak decision to play Perrotta as a so called trequartista.

Toni should have been dropped after the France game.I don't say he is a bad player but it was pretty obvious he wasn't in form. Then again, who should have replaced Toni?Exactly, there isn't even one who is capable to fill Toni's boots.Borriello is the only one who seemed to be able to replace Toni...phisically.It's not even Donadoni's fault that he called Borriello up as a Toni replacement.Who the hell should he call up?There isn't a single tall Italian Striker except Iaquinta who was injured. We need to find a new tall Striker in the future, players like Acquafresca. And please, for the love of god,we have to change that 4-3-3.It just doesn't suit Italy.

Every Italian who says fuck this or fuck that:Fuck yourself, how about that?
