Well, I still think Holland's 2nd team are decent enough to pick a draw.
They can beat them if they want to.

Similar thing happened on euro 2004.
Czech Republic secured the first place and in the last round they played Germany. The Germans needed a win to pass the groups and eliminate Holland.
They tought they'll easily beat the Czech team without Nedved, Poborsky, Baros, Rosicky and Koller who were being rested.
But the Czech second team didn't even want to think about letting the Germans win and they've beaten them 2:1 with their second team, without needing any points.

If the Czech second team could beat Ballack's Germany (that desperately needed 3 pts) why shouldn't the Dutch second team beat Romania ?

Yeah youre right, I dont think theyll get handed the game.

The second string of players would want to play well to prove something for the coach atleast, thats the way I see it.

Now the question is, can we beat france?

It will be hard for you to beat France. I hear that Ali Nasseredine and Roda Antar won't play and they are your best players.

:D

Romania will beat Holland...las year in 2 games ...from a total of 6 points we got 4...and Holland's 2nd team wasn't playing;)

And you also never scored against italy for god knows how long, record books dont stand here.

Who would have thought italy would lose against holland 3 0?....

If holland doesnt have the intention of knocking frande and italy out, they'd put a decent fight get a draw perhaps.

btw dude your team is amazing you should be proud.

Hehe, it was just a joke. No hard feelings.
The French play even worse than Italy. These two teams are both major disappointments and they know eachother perfectly.
If i must pick an 1x2 bet i wouldn't know what to do because the chances for every outcome are 33.3%-33.3%-33.3%.
So, yes, Italians can beat France but i rate their chances equal to the chances for a France win or a draw.
Tactics will play a huge role in this match. Whoever sets them right (having in mind that it's Donadoni and Domenech it will be more accurate to say : whoever won't set them wrong) will win this match.

:D ...thanks..i am proud.....i think Holland would prefer to knock France and Italy out...beacause they are much bigger teams then Romania.....

and btw...we were lucky with italy...but not that lucky...because Mutu missed that penalty:frown2:

There is a perspective that Romania will loose Holland 2 nil. Then Italy and France will get a draw. Holland Romania then get through. What a perspective !! :(

Van Basten and Donadoni are good friends will that mean anything i wonder?
Iam sure they wont be any more if Van Basten putd a second string side and losses, than Donadoni gets the sack a week later.

None taken, I just felt it coming but you seem to know a thing or two about lebanese football :p...kudos to that.

Let's say donanodini wins that battle, would that mean hes twice the coach that domenech is :p not much to brag about anyways. I see italy winning, and going through, the stars are properly aligned.

The tournament is effectively over for Italy as I have seen nothing from this team to suggest we can beat France. I hope to be proved wrong however.

As for yesterday's game, yes the offside call was a poor decision, but these things happen in matches - it was nothing more than a bad mistake by the ref's assistant.

It's a shame, I was expecting a lot more. It seems my expectations were too high.

hehe, Im not sure if theyre good friends, they just played together.

A work work relationship, didnt see such a warm welcome when both met before the game.

But I hope this turns out to be true, I want italy to remain in the euros, mostly because its practically Ales last international competition.

What did you see of the french team that suggest they cant beat us?

Your question doesnt stand.
