To be fair, Puyol has been extremely poor the past couple of seasons, and he did look extremely shaky against Russia too. I think its safe to say, he's a shadow of the defender he used to be a few years ago.

Puyol is the benchmark for the modern defender...2 good feet, brilliant in the air and lightning quick...anybody who thinks he sucks is just mentally unstable
still I read from internet that 60% of Italians still believe Italia can make it through to knockout stage..
finger crossed.
let's hope France lost too or draw
Thats 5 positions. But this still looks good.Italy need Perrotta in there. His workrate is second to none.He was one of their unsung hero's at the finals two years ago,and he can definatley still do a great job for Italy. Why Donadoni didnt start him in the last game is baffling..but hey, this is Donadoni.
Andy Gray believes your team, no matter the coach, always comes to out play boring defensive football. He says he loves seeing your team get stomped like the other day.
He is just another English clown if he thinks Lippi's Italy only consisted of sitting back all the time.
