Holland tore apart an absent Italy where Spain tore apart a rather good Russia. They also have the best defense out of the four teams you mentioned. They are simply the most complete team in the Euros. I see them going all the way unless France and Italy somehow rise from the dead since they are the only two teams that match Spain when it comes to overall team quality.

We have a coach that doesn't seem to have a clue of what football exactly is.

Don't think defence is Spains strong point. I mean it's ok to say Villa and Torres are the best strikers or that their midfield creates more chances than any other, you could even argue that Casillas is the best keeper(although you'd be wrong), but saying Spain has the best defence is a bit of an overstatement if you ask me.

Blaming him all the time is getting old. His incompetence isn't exactly a revelation. We all knew, well at least most of us knew he wasn't good enough to coach Italy. He also put a little too much trust towards the youthful Milan trio. We still stand a chance as long as he learns from his idiotic mistakes. The latest press conference however, was far from encouraging. He refuses to acknowledge his enormous fuckup and I fear he will make little or no changes next game.

Especially with Marchena playing.

I don't think it's an overstatement at all. I'm not saying their defense is perfect but with the likes of Puyol and Marchenna, they are definitely stronger at the back than Portugal, Holland, and arguably Germany.
