wow...it takes a brilliant professor to compare his situation with that of Calciopoli...bravo again, Seven !!
Had you known anything about Italian society you would have realised I was not referring to Calciopoli. Any Italian will tell you following the rules isn't exactly his dream.

But hey, you're an Italian American, not an Italian.

Scotland ready for Azzurri battle

Italy are in pole position to qualify for Euro 2008, but the atmosphere is defiant in Scotland as a nation prepares for November 17’s decisive encounter.

The Azzurri only need a draw in Glasgow to claim a place in Austria and Switzerland after the Scots were surprisingly beaten 2-0 in Georgia.

While Scotland’s task now looks daunting, there is an air of optimism amongst the country’s football authorities.

“We can beat Italy, I have no doubt about that whatsoever,” Celtic manager Gordon Strachan told BBC Sport.

“We’ve all enjoyed what the team has achieved so far and it’s all down to the last game so they have to go for it.

'Whatever happens, this is the best performance in terms of excitement of any Scotland side trying to qualify.”

Celtic defender Gary Caldwell is also in buoyant mood ahead of the biggest game in his nation’s recent history.

“We have five wins out of five at Hampden and I’m sure that Italy aren’t looking forward to it,” he roared.

“I’m sure if they had known they would have to get a result to stay in the competition, they wouldn’t have fancied that.

“We know what we have to do as we know we must win to qualify and I’m sure we can get there.”

Well, I did. And what was the result? He keeps on talking, talking and talkng about me. :blah: :blah: yet he never makes sense. And nobody actually agrees with him nor gives a fook what he says. I can´t understand how he doesn´t realise that. He must be very lonely. And naturally, at a certain time I snap, I try to defend myself and I have to get down to his level.

He also claims that he doesn´t read my posts and yet he replies on almost half of my posts. I can bet he saves my posts in a special folder together with Del Piero pictures. The most favourite for me is when he talks about my football knowledge and calls me a kid. The idiot is 3 years younger than me, FFS. And the fact that he plays amateur football in God knows what shithole gives him an idea he is a football expert. When someone disagrees with him or has a different opinion, he lacks football knowledge. :howler: Very, very childish and dumb from him.

I don´t want to lose any more time on this, but can´t you do something about this? Let´s say, whoever attacks 1st, he gets banned. I don´t wanna sound like Ahmedios and moan or anything like that but I would appreciate a little help. If not, I guess it will continue like this forever.
:rofl2: ,& u dont like it when he calls u a kid.

so you've gone to Italy to interview these people ??

How dare you make such assumptions, but hey, thats what you're known for. You've had your go at Muslims, Catholics, and now you slander the Italians...good job, Einstein

You are nothing more than a bigot who thinks he knows everything

I have relatives living in Italy, and they are hard working, honest people who are law abiding citizens.

You can spin this any way you want, but everyone here knows what you said, and meant. You're not Italian, nor do you have any reason to even be in this thread, so why dont you go troll elsewhere, Hector the genius

Sure. Whatever you want to believe. But perhaps you'd like to know I wasn't giving you MY opinion, but the opinion of an ITALIAN writer. So if someone was making assumptions, it definitely wouldn't have been me.

And to make matters even worse I never claimed they weren't hard working honest people. Why would I slander Italians? I love Italy, I'll live there for 6 months come February and I root for the Italian national team. Please, enlighten me, what possible reason could I have to slander Italians?

Vin, you know shit about Italy. You really know shit. I can only hope you've been there at least once in your sorry existence. But I wonder.. how could one have been in Naples and still say Napoletani respect traffic rules...

Oh, and you're an American, not an Italian. Don't get too confused, my capitalist wonderman.

So now your quoting a writer, and its not something that YOU actually said ??

And that probably goes for all of your other bigoted opinions too ??

Sure kid...whatever you say. If you cant own those words then just dont say them...using the "book defense" may work with some others here, but not me, pal

You have no idea what I know about Italy, if I keep in contact with family there, or if I've ever been there, so shut your fucking mouth, hector. You reading a few books about Italy, and spending 6 months there doesnt impress me a bit

You carry the attitude and mouth you have to Italy, and it may just be the last trip you take, I can tell you that much

You can read all the books on Italy that you want, you can visit 6 months at a time, but the bottom line is that I have Italian in my blood and DNA, and you DON'T !!!

Take your jealousy elsewhere, waffle boy

You don't have Italian blood you fucktard. You're an American. There's not even such a thing as Italian blood. I guess one could speak of a mediterranean race, but based on color it would be hard to note the differences between an Italian and a Spaniard. In truth an Italian is shaped by Italian culture, by living in Italy.

The book defense does work here. Why? Because you said I was a bigot and my opinion was slandering Italians. Obviously this can't be so if an Italian said it. Also note that you don't respond to any of my arguments, but answer my questions with threats.

Which brings me to my next point. Funnily enough YOU are portraying Italians as killers. "You carry the attitude and mouth you have to Italy, and it may just be the last trip you take, I can tell you that much.".

Perhaps you should bother to learn Italian. You might understand something of the Italian, not the Italian American, culture as well. And tell me, when was the last time you were in Napoli, my friend? Did you think they respected traffic rules over there?

You are really a fucking idiot, aren't you ??

So what you are telling me is anyone on this forum who wasnt born in Italy isnt Italian ? There are plenty of people here who are of Italian heritage, but born elsewhere...but they cant say that they are Italian ?

Both sides of my family originate from Italy, so therefore Einstein, I am Italian. I don't care if you've read tons of books about the region, or spend 6 months there at a time...you are not Italian, and I am, understand ?

And when was the last time YOU were in Napoli ? Did you stand at an intersection for hours at a time and count the number of cars who didnt follow the traffic rules ?? Can you give us all some stats, genius-boy ??!!:p

And maybe you can get away with having a big mouth in Antwerp, but I can pretty much guarantee that you would have your mouth shut for you over in Napoli if you go there with your attitude...killed ?? maybe, but an ass beating is pretty much a given. I never portrayed Italians as killers, you moron, but I know that they wouldnt take no shit from a big mouthed, waffle eating pansy like yourself !!

Oh dear, you seem to know very little about the country. Also note that I never claimed to be Italian. Why would I? I'm glad I'm Belgian. You on the other hand do claim to be Italian, when you're not. You're an American. You live in New York, not in Italy. On what basis could you possibly claim to be an Italian? I originate from Africa, we all do, but I'm not Zambian. Please, you know nothing about Italy. The fact you won't tell me when you last visited the country says it all for me.

There's not even a single Napoletano who will say he follows traffic rules. No one in Napoli does. Who do you think warned me for Napoli? Italians. And yeah, if I wanted to, I'm pretty sure I could provide you with stats. And yes, those stats would say there happen a lot of accidents in Campania. The last time I was in Napoli must have been two years ago or something. Maybe less, I don't really know, I've been there so much. You did portray them as killers, because you said I would get killed with that kind of attitude. Geez, I thought you were at least that smart.

If you knew Antwerp, and naturally you don't, you would know it's in many ways the Belgian equivalent of New York. You can have a big mouth over here, but you'll need to back it up. Antwerp is the city that best portrays racial "differences" in Belgium and there's a lot of tension.

And your point being?

I don't live in Lebanon does that make me non-Lebanese?

I think his point was very clear.
If i was born in Norway, if i lived my whole life in Norway, if my main language is Norwegian, if i went to Norwegian school, if all of my friends speak Norwegian, if i never lived in Croatia and if i speak Croatian just to get by, then i become a Norwegian even though my parents origins are Croatian.

But if i was born from Croatian parents and lived in Croatia most of my life and if i went to live in Norway just recently, then i'm 100% Croatian.
