He is trying to steal the idea of Arab revolutions making them one of his achievments.

Why didn't he mention Jordan and Bahrain?

Ah, yes. The dictators of those two are his allies.

"In too many countries, power has been concentrated in the hands of a few." "No honest judiciary..." "no political party to represent his views..." "no free and fair election..."

Gee, that sounds like our country!

    Thanks, Obummer.

Does he really believe what he says?

I mean he says he was always for democracy in the Middle East. Who is he kidding there?

Well, the fact that the USA supports some of the revolutions but do nothing against Saudi Arabia and Bahrain is clearly another example of double standards in American foreign policy.

The Obama administration's handling of the recent events in the greater Middle East(including North Africa) was rather incompetent. One day Mubarak had to go, the day after he had to stay, and the day after he had to go.

The funny thing is that he seems seriously thinking people in Arab countries will believe any word he says :lol2:

To be honest, the US government had no business "handling" any recent events in the middle east.

In Bahrain he calls for a dialogue between all the parties, but in other countries he calls leaders to give up :lol2:

Well, he killed Osama Bin Laden after all :D
Because of how much the US government has caused harm to several Arab countries, people around here do not necessarily consider the American government to be that much better than Al Qaeda. Still, they're gaining favor among the Libyan people for their stance in our cause, even though any smart enough person knows that they're doing that for their interests not for our good.

It has nothing to do with people in Arab nations. He's wants to be portrayed as if he's bettering the relations between the two cultures, for the electorate.

He is currently insulting Bin Laden as usual.
    Citation? Reference?

He is trying to steal the idea of Arab revolutions making them one of his achievments.
Presidents have done that for time immemorial. Bush Sr. took credit for the fall of the Berlin wall and blamed the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo on the Democratic-controlled Congress. This shit is as old as politics itself.

Why didn't he mention Jordan and Bahrain?

Ah, yes. The dictators of those two are his allies.
    Quote? Reference?
