It is just a fan's opinion.
True. However, like I said before...if you look hard enough you will find that some fans will even consider Inter as the run away Scudetto champs next year. Obviously, Vieira is a big addition however I don't think it greatly improved the team to a level where PANIC of opposing fans will ensue.

Panic is always overrated and no reasonable fan should panic. We've had panic attacks here among our members when Milan were so close to signing Gilardino. Some even claimed that Milan will win everything with such an addition.

As for Inter, is it something new? :D

I think Nick is right. I mean, what if Vieira isn't all what he's hyped up to be this season. Remember, being the better team on paper doesn't always mean being the better team on the pitch. If that was the case, Inter would have won three Scudetti in the past ten years. They've signed 115 players since Moratti took over in te 1995-96 season. You've seen some of the "best" players pass through trophy-less.

All I'm saying is don't count your chickens before they hatch. I have a sudden urge for an omlette now.

That's not what I'm getting at. I'm saying that people create all this hype saying that Emerson and Vieira are the "best midfield duo in international soccer". What's proven? Dick-all!

I used Inter as an example to show how even though Moratti signed a superstar who was said to change the team's fortunes, they've won nothing up until now with the Coppa Italia (the Tito Jackson of Italian trophies).

You never said that Roma are better, he might have understood the fact that you keep repeating that Roma are more entertaining.
of course they are entertaining, if what roma players do on and off the field isnt entertaining, i dont know what is

Other fans saying we're a kick ass team doesnt hold for nothing to be honest. We've got to get out there and prove it. Just by acquiring Vieira doesnt make us the best midfield out there, unless we actually play the way we have to. So, in conclusion, these comments dont mean anything. Its how we do on the pitch, that does.
