I don't see anything keeping Chievo afloat this season. Marchegiani was often their lone bright spot in a number of scrappy games, and now he's even retired. New coach Bepi Pillon is brand new to Serie A and is largely untested beyond Treviso.

Not looking good for the Flying Donkeys. We better put them out of their misery next week. :fero:

We just barely managed to sneak a win in our last encounter against them though. Chievo even had a perfectly good goal dissallowed.

The infamous long shot rebounder. That was pretty weird. But hey... we won the Scudetto by 7 points, so it was a wash in the end.

That's true. People were already talking at that moment, that the chievo victory would be crucial and a smudge on the scudetto title if we'd only win the title by 3 points or less.
