How can any player be indispensible in this day and age. If its right for the team, any player could be sold, even dp, even buffon. Personally I'd be more disappointed if we lost Miccoli than anyone else in our squad

Really? I would think that you'd hate to lose Buffon more. There are a few great young forwards out there, but there's only one Itlaian number one keeper. If just for that reason, Juve will not sell Buffon.

The only guy thats close to gigi potential is Tim Howard.

oh and some dodgy Ajax keeper
Tim Howard is as good as Buffon, and Stekelenburg is going to be that good, but niether of them is Italian.

Howard imo is not as good as buffon yet, he doenst seem to give the confidence to his defence like gigi does, but that will come with time.

Czech..peter czech, is he even that good??When i watched him on french tv, he looked similar to frey, jus nowere near as good.

Buffon
Zambrotta
Del Piero
Maresca
Miccoli

but if we sell one of the others we must buy someone better than him later
in the past (sell zidan / buy Nedved)
in the future (sell Nedved / buy Aimar or Xavi)

DP!!!
he's the symbol! think he's like Maldini, would neva play for the another team! personally I can't imagine Juve without DP or it's bettta say DP playing in Roma or barca ...ah whatever team!! weird!

then Buffon! BEST, BEST, BEST!
Zamba! he could be a superstar if mass media works betta!
Thuram was good, but now we could sell him being more mercatilistic.

Zambro already is a superstar  just not a very publicised one. I actually like the situation. So far I don't recall hearing Real Madrid and Zambrotta mentioned in the same breath, and I'd like it to stay that way

the star to you ... to me... to all juventinis and all who admire calcio;
bet most of bundesliga's (whatever) fans don't think of Zamba as a superstar! HE DESERVES TO BE KNOWN WORLDWIDE!
he's a pearl!
as for trade house real he'd neva go 2it, he'd stay in JUVE!!! he wouldn't sell his soul!
being a marketing and finance future specialist i can say that these superstars in real are just puppets that are used to support the name and make money, no more, no less! If I'd be a good player i'd neva go 2real! Juve is the GREAT team but with another business strategies. and i'd make so that real will beg me to come and i will PREFER J U V E N T U S!!!!!!
Real sucks!

In no order cos i would be too biased....

Zambro

Buffon <---- he's practically the only gd defence for us right now. Even if we sell him..... not now! There are so few who would be in the same grade as him and he's already with us for sometime.

He is the best in the world and has on occasions bein carrying the entire defence this season,
i'm sorry but i really don't know how you could draw that conclusion from the performances he's been putting in this season.

I was speaking of this year. Howard's performances have been roughly equivalent to Buffon's IMO. Either way, those two are going to be the world's best keepers very soon.

Petr Cech? He's not that great. I don't get the hype about him, but maybe he'll break through with Chelsea.
