I donno why you forgot to mention Trez?? His only possible replacement plays in Milan (out of reach). If we let him go, we wont be able to find anyone (in the world!) near to his caliber.

agree... as i said in my post... Trez have certain qualities that are very essential to our tactical approach... and i have to say he is the best at what he do... wwe cannot afford to sell him now.

yeah... but untill any of those names written at the back of an official Juventus shirt , Trez is undispensable...

Btw Aressandro, ur sig is class.

We need a tall pointman, trez is all we have got,and oddly enough he is one of the best out there in his position and style of play..who welse could we have, Jan Koller, Klose??? I think i will stick with trez

irreplaceble? realistically, no one is irreplaceble IMO. but if i'm moggi, i wudnt sell

1. DP (i'm sure there'll be riot in turin)
2. buffon (cant think of ne1 better...ollie kahn? :p)
3. zambro (i'd choose him over carlos anytime )
4. miccoli (as someone sed, DP's heir.....fan's player he is :thumb:)
5. ferrara (coz i want him to retire as one of our gr8s! which will be next season IIRC)

I watched the first half of River v Nueva Chicago, Cav scored a gr8 header, but it was crap defending that let him. He also should great touch, but fialed to look up and shot straight at the keepr. Apart form those to incidents he was unkown in the game.......

If we get cav, he is not a replacemnt for trez yet, he should go out on loan for a season b4 playing for us.

I'm not saying these players are irreplaceable but I wouldn't sell them for now.

1. Gianluigi Buffon
2. Gianluca Zambrotta
3. Alessandro Del Piero
4. Davide Trezeguet
5. Fabrizio Miccoli

I know it's supposed to be five players, but I would put Maresca as my sixth.

personally i don't think i'd say no to abramovich's money for any of our players, except possibly miccoli and maresca.

just about everyone else is for sale-at the right price.

i would sell buffon for say 25m if we could get a very good replacement for less than half the price(which we can) and spend the rest on mexes.

I want mexes alot, but i would not sell gigi unless it was for a Zizou like offer, maybe bigger. He is the best in the world and has on occasions bein carrying the entire defence this season, and last. £25m is a loss to considering we spent £32m on him, and yes i am dicarding hte change in the market.
