Lol i am italian so as a fan i consider myself a part of the team, with the way cassano played today i think its better off to just keep mutu at juve. Guesse were realli proving today that the Nt doesnt need Del Piero

No but im pretty mad at Lippi for this one when we could have brought an in-form Del Piero although i do understand that he had to go to japan, but totti aswell. As much as i hate him he does have the ability to unlock a defense with one pass. And why bring vieri when you could bring Montella or Lucarelli. Hell we didnt even play esposito today, we played Aimo Diana who just came off an injury.

I dont know Lippi's logic on that game and if neone played bad today it was cassano he did not look inspired at all today. I would have subbed him at half time

Yeah good call, base everything on entirely one performance.

They(Italy) should have won and they had the change but they didn't use it...
Norway was playing good but they lacked good finishing....

Yes but Andy can you realli say that Cassano played that great this season and do you think that he deserved to be called up ahead of Del Piero or Totti

Lippi is going to stick with the young players and I don't blame him. It's the only way Italy is going to have a chance to win the next World Cup.

So if Lippi is sticking with younger players why not go with Esposito to start or go with a guy like brienza if Cassano aint in for he aint playing man

So why call Vieri then? Anyways, given his current form Del Piero deserves to be in the Azzurri set up regardless of age. IMO he's had a better season than Cassano and he's definitely carrying better form at this point in time.
