It's a one year deal for Modric. Possibly option for another.

But he'll do good in Serie A. Yet another fading star that ends up in Italy. Imo he'll be a leader in a young environment so it's a good move. Iirc it was 3.5mln/season deal
Exactly the sort of player we could do with in terms of leadership, experience, personality and ability to control the tempo of a game. All areas we lack in our squad.

Pep wanted a smaller squad. A transfer windows opens for 5 minutes and Man City sign 3 players for a combined €128m. I reckon they have a 30-man squad now (I've excluded KDB). They need to sell Grealish, maybe a midfielder.

I hope Grealish goes to ManU, takes "7" and initiate Beckham comparisons.

Napoli about to sign Yunus Musah from Milan for €25m. This is such a Conte move or Manna ? I remember we also linked with him when Manna with us

Sane to Galatasaray

Another guy who peaked very early in his career
Surprised he couldn’t find better suitors in one of the top leagues, must’ve been on a massive downfall this last season or so if he gone there at only 29yo, tbh i haven’t watched him recently but it comes as quite the unexpected move.

Dortmund trying the copy and paste, signing Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland for €32m.
lol, and watch them actually selling him for twice that in a couple of years time, now that would be some next level copy pasta, but how likely is it.

I actually think Jobe is a bit overrated, no way worth this amount. But it wouldn't surprise me if they can make him grow a lot and sell him on.

But then I never thought Jude was going to be a big star having watched him in the Championship, even though he was very young. Having seen players like Rooney or Owen at the same age there was a big difference, just to compare English players. Growth isn't the same for all players.

Man City is signing Nypan from Rosenborg. Why can't we ever go after talents like that? Dude won't play for City for years. There's another club that should be investigated for slave labour.

Meh.

Spurs can't do any worse in the league but I just get the feeling that Frank is another random appointment and their signings will be much the same. Very Spursy.
