Daniel Maldini to Atalanta. I guess they will either not rely much on Zaniolo going forward, or plan to cash in on De Ketelaere in the summer.

Maldini has been on a slow but constant upward trajectory, expect him to explode under Gasperini in the advanced role behind the striker.

They already cancelled the Zaniolo loan from Gala. He is incredibly enough rumoured to Fiorentina who rejected in summer last minute to go to Atalanta.

Gasperini was not a fan Zaniolo work ethic.

I'm divided.

On one hand it's a lof of money and we cash in big time on him and we can reinvest in the squad for the summer window. But on the other hand I also feel like it's shortsighted.

Tel showed a lot in 2023, especially during the later half of the year. He saved us 3 points in the CL against FCK and United as well if I'm not wrong. When watching him play you can see there's talent in the boy and I believe he can be great. But Kompany apparently doesn't rate him or don't think he's doing well enough in training, idk.

I just wish we could've offloaded deadweight aka Gnabry, Sané, Coman and Goretzka.

But Gnabry and Goretzka never had any intention to leave as they're sitting on big fat contracts. Contracts Brazzo gave them when he was still here. Selling Tel will be like pissing in the pants to keep warm when there's 3-5 other players that shouldn't still be here in the first place.

Gnabry for instance should've been sold 3-4 years ago. He didn't play at a wc level since the 19-20 season. And we can see now that was a massive fluke from him. Since then he has been med or average at best. Coman and Sané are often the same, although Coman won us the treble, so I'm cutting him some slack.

Tel is the future, none of these guys are. I hope we have a serious plan with this, because if his sale involves keeping those bums then it's 1 step forward and 2 back.

Tel is still a teenager, top level talent. Instead of prematurely sell him for huge sum to another ambitious club. Do what Real Madrid do, sell to midlevel team with lower sum but with buyback option. That's much smarter IMO.

You get a chance to get him back if he breakouts with alot of minutes and your dead weight wingers contracts are expiring/easier to move.

Hence it's good if we sell him to Tottenham. That way we should still be able to get him back if he turns into a wc player.

What a retard if true, especially if Arsenal is also showing interest. I thought the kid was ambitious and wanted to develop. Now he's gonna get stuck in that mess of a club like all the others. These players just never learn.

Good riddance and lets cash in big time now.

His rationale is probably he sees Zirkzee and Hojlund aren't doing anything so easy to get play time. Plus open spot for their wing spots too.

Arsenal has too much competition.

But he should ask himself why aren't Man U attackers not doing anything and that's likely happen to you too lol

We should demand more than 60 mio at this point, it's United we're dealing with after all. :donedeal:

And if Arsenal is also interested then it means we can ask for an increased price.

So despite @Robee insisting Mendes was in Turin to mend relations with Giuntoli, since he landed in Turin on Friday Mendes has:
Dined with Yildiz' family proposing a move away.
Fucked Giuntoli over the supposed help to sign Danso and instead we ended up paying for Lloyd Kelly on Saturday.
Gone to Milan and secured Joao Felix for them....
