Not sure why some of you guys are surprised by this transfer. Coutinho ever since leaving Liverpool has been a shadow of his former self.

Not many people know Stevie G coaching Villa, no way he comes without that connection.

And he has 400k salary. But Villa not like most of the other smaller EPL clubs. They have not one but two billionaire owners. So more likely to cover that ridiculous salary.
Genoa and Atalanta also have billionaire owners ;). Well, Genoa used to have as Preziosi sold the club recently.

Official: David Neres to Shaktar for 18m.

Never thought I'd see this kid demote. What a player he was couple of seasons ago but ACL injury wrecked him.

Ajax will now go all out for Bergwijn. More money for tootsie.

Newcastle have found an agreement with Gosens to go to Premier League right away. €3.5M a year for 3 and a half years, triple what he makes at Atalanta. The official offer to Atalanta should come soon. (Sky Sport)

We should be all over that either as a left back or a left midfielder, our left side is a tragedy. 3.5m is super reasonable as well

If he ends up at Newcastle of all clubs :howler:

He will turn them down.

I dont know if you guys noticed, but there is a reason Newcastle only signed bums like Trippier and Wood so far, they have the domestic connection enough to draw those two, but trying to entice international targets, wether established ones like Gosens, big names like Vlahovic, or young lesser known kids like Ekitike. The end result is the same, these players will turn down Newcastle, because the money isnt worth relegating to championship for.

TrippinTrippier is not a bum, very good crosser, would welcome him at Juve.
They are also trailling Sven Botman, who is top cb prospect and according to many reports is pushing for a move. This will be big transfer for them as he is a caliber of CB which should lure top clubs.

Trippier is in final years of his career, so coming home and getting a big salary to boot is nice deal for him. No good EPL teams would sign him most likely, except for the likes of Burnley, Brighton or such.

But yeah at his best he was real good fullback.

The pity here is Botman if they really sign him, would love too see us go for him if/when we sell de Ligt. Hopefully he won't join them.
