I just figured how many high profile transfers didn't work out the past seasons. Just came up with a squad with players who were signed for a lot of money and are currently relegated to the bench or hoping to be sold

Kepa (80M)
Cancelo (65M) Lucas Hernandez (80M) Militao (50M)
Dembele (150M) Coutinho (160M) Pogba (105M) James Rodriguez (80M)
Felix (120M) Jovic (70M) Griezmann (100M)

Lazio sure have a right to be angry about Silva behaviour, they made him very generous offer that his agent pretty much accepted and then they ghosted the club for week. Apparently they found out about the transfer only when Real Sociedad made it official. I mean, one call to Lazio saying he won't go there after all isn't that much to do.

Lazio fans must have been really hyped for idea of SMS, Luis Alberto and Silva all in their midfield. At least they were for a week.

Probably score 8-10 goals and some assists.
That'd be close to prime Gio numbers. After fucking about in MLS and Arab league (or whatever its called) for a long time (5 years?) I'm not sure he can still play football at top level at all, nevertheless be a decent level striker. Eto'O in a much shorter period went from a Ballon d'Or worthy striker to not good enough for teams like Everton/Sampdoria

That was because of age. Eto'o fell off because he was mid late 30s by then. Gio pretty far from what he was, but he is still 32ish, have couple years of decent level if he is serious enough. Especially as a finesse type of player, compared to a striker who relies heavily on physical attributes.
