How come Ferran Torres only cost €23m? Something dodgy about that...probably see a City fringe player end up at Valencia now.
last year of his contract, plus we don't know how much the add ons and bonuses amount to. But yeah I expected he would go for a very reasonable price. Just a shame we couldn't offload our deadbeats like bernadeschi and costa to make room.

I think Pep influential in this move as Ferran Torres want to be coached by Pep
It's just that way, he is Man City bound, we will never have a chance even if we can sell Berna / Costa

Not sure I like the tone of this interview. Might have dodged a bullet here. Time will tell.

The captaincy part, and demanding owner is involved in negotiations is bizzare. Huge red flags in ego. But the rest might have a point. Parejo is your classic stupid party boy jock since Getafe days. Regularly in trouble for drunk benders and driving under influnce.

And Ferran has been benched after scoring 2 goals few times, didnt make sense at the time.

But for this kids sake better check his ego before joining City's Camp.

Liverpool have had a bid of £10m plus sell-on clause rejected by Norwich for Jamal Lewis.

Are they broke or something? Why the derisory offer?

They are looking for competition for Andy Robertson.

its the first bid for a backup/development player. I think Norwich want 25 so we’ll probably meet somewhere in the middle

also, with finances down we’re probably not trying to spend too much unless we find an amazing deal

The other thing perhaps is that they could sacrifice Lewis so they don't have to sell some of their other big players. Just seems a low amount at even £25m when they are asking for £50m each for Ben Godfrey or Max Aarons.

Does Messi have an Italian passport or is his heritage too far back? Sounds like he and his father are on some kind of tax dodge, but unless he actually moves to Italy he won't get the full benefit. If he rents to others however...

news are from last week and it was told to be "an investment" by spanish sources. as you suggested, benefiting from the new tax rules definitely sound like messi and co.

very good transfer for them.

they need another wb, a quality midfielder and they will have a really good team for next year. i hope they keep conte.

nice to see inter being a good team again. worthy of challenging for scudetto. this crop of inter players is good too. likable players.
