I love what Liverpool are doing with Coutinho. They're a making a stand and forcing that little twat to honour the contract he signed less than a year ago. I hope it turns out well for them. Marotta should take a note that there is an alternative to bending over and taking it up the ass.

Yeah we'll see how it turns out before patting Liverpool on the back. You lose the player and a stand means nothing, you get a good fee or you don't, that's more important when it comes to the crunch. Coutinho stays and puts in an inconsistent season and it's not worth taking any stand. Money is almost nothing to PL sides now. Putting a transfer request in is unsavoury and creates animosity towards the player, but it's Barcelona and he's Brazilian.

Already fans are turning against him, which would obviously happen. I don't really know why fans of the non-La Liga two get offended or surprised when one of their leading South American players decide they want to join one of those two teams. Yeah it's shit but the majority of them would do anything to join those two teams, and so would many European players.

Well he's no Neymar, that's for sure, but I'm sure he'd still do very well there. That's why clubs are loathe to sell absolute superstars, you can have a pile of money but you need another superstar to replace them to even keep the team on par. Or you buy two very good players to create better options across the XI or squad. If Neymar is a 9.5 player then Coutinho is an 8.5. The only potential superstar coming through looks to be Mbappé.

Hey, Asamoah just put in a transfer request.

What you want Marotta to do now?

How do you like Milan's mercato?
Like it quite a bit, so far, should give the team a fighting chance at CL qualification if they manage to avoid severe injuries. They still need to add at least one striker and a couple of mids, though.
Most important thing, however, would be if, and how quickly, these players fit into a team together.

All in all, the new management has managed to raise the level of roster quality from basically 0 to pretty decent with mostly smart moves, without hugely overpaying in a mercato where the prices are going crazier by the minute.
