They are betting that he is going to be the dominant player (for Ballon D'or and crazy stats) after Messi & Ronaldo era and they are making a huge statement by signing him. They are basically saying that they are not going away and that they have huge plans for the future to become an elite club. They wont settle for just being dominant in France.

Now that Morata is going to Chelsea, whats gonna happen with Diego Costa... who is getting him? I'd hate to see him in one of the Milanese teams because the guy is a top player.

As for all the fuss over Neymar these past few days, if PSG wants to end up banned from EU competitions till 2050, they can do it.
That deal is either incredibly stupid (for neymar, because PSG is trash compared to Barca, and for PSG because spending 220M on 1 player would just make them earn the the title of biggest retarded club ever)

Spanish clubs always used to have those high clauses. The thing is, with the modern football and retarded numbers nowadays, it seems plenty will get activated
