I don't follow bundesliga, but Schweinsteiger looks washed up due to injuries. He seems to be kind of done already. I always have the feeling that the effort at WC final fucked him up for good. :)

35m for Jackson Martinez is too pricy. He is 28/29 years old and for that amount of money you can buy better players imo.
Bad job by Atleti because they sell Mandzukic for 19 million (28/29 years) and buy J.Martinez for 35m (28/29). So he costs 16 million euros more and you don't know if he is better than Mandzu.

Bertolacci-Poli-Monto-Bonaventura, this 4 is probably their starting line up and that's easily a second class line up. Just not good enough.
Well De Jong has renewed today and they are looking for another midfielder.

My suspicion is that Milan will have most of a decent team next season, but they will be held back by not having good enough central defenders.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm suggesting in comparing them to Fiorentina.

Lopez

Abate-Zapata-Paletta-De Sciglio

Bertolacci-De Jong-Montolivo

Menez----???????-----El Shaarawy

There are still enough decent players in that team that a coach should be able to figure out something that functions well enough for them to win quite a lot of games.

@Enron, don't happen to know anything about Danny Ward, do you?

He's just signed a new 5-year contract with Liverpool and is going to join us on loan for the season.

Milan continues to work on improving their midfield. The rossoneri have reached an agreement in principle with Roma for midfielder Bertolacci, the deal should be completed for around €20 million. The negotiation could be completed in the next few days, and it was quarterbacked by Bertolacci's agent Alessandro Lucci. After redeeming Bertolacci from Genoa, Roma is ready to sell the midfielder to Milan.

20 MILLION!

Mundo Deportivo says Inter will loan Montoya for 1.5M + 6M after 2 years loan.

I don't rate him high, but they are moving pretty well.

That Miranda deal is fucking mistery to me, the guy is cheaper than fucking Ogbonna.
