well i was talking about CBs and not defenders in general.
so if they didn´t know about castan that early it´s ok-ish to start the season with what they had.

I thought Schürrle's transfer fee was €27m, now I am reading its a little more than €30m wtf. Damn good strategy and foresight of Chelsea's mgmt if true. English media don't seem to give Chelsea managemet/transfer directors credit for these transfers: D.Luiz, Mata, Lukaku, Schürrle, none 1st team players all sold for more than €30m.
