Rami to unlock Milan deal?
By Football Italia staff
Milan are reportedly ever closer to tying up a deal to permanently sign Adil Rami from Valencia, but there remains a gap in valuation.
The Rossoneri have been in negotiations with Los Che for the past few weeks to try to sign the France international outright, following an initial six-month loan deal for the second half of last season.
The latest indications are that final progress could be made in the coming days, with Valencia’s latest asking price apparently set at €4.25m coming much closer to Milan’s believed latest bid of €3.75m.
It is understood that the player himself could unlock the latest stalemate and fix the €500,000 gap if he lowers his wages demands.
The Gazzetta dello Sport have Rami as in Milan currently waiting to join his teammates for preseason training.
