I don't see him being of much use to Roma.

i remember at schalke last season he played some games as rw/rm.. hes nothing special and his offense is not good enough to make up for his terrible defense so i agree that roma wont have much use of him...

yeah I thought the main issue was his contract expiring, and talks breaking down between his agent and lazio. selling him now seems to make sense instead of losing him for cheap or on a free. regardless of his form in wc, he doesnt have the glamor, or age of younger players to attract big transfer attention
