I'd like to be laughing at Napoli. They spent 87 million euros in the summer. 37 million on Higuaín, who is definitely not worth more than 25. So 87 million euros = dropping from 2nd to 3rd in the league, and still bowing out of the champion's league in round 1. It's looking like they're going to spend 20-30 million in this winter mercato also. If they don't finish top two after spending over 110 million between the two transfer windows this season, that is just pathetic. They really only lost one player. And brought in half a dozen others. And shall be in the 35-50 million minus range on transfers in and out.

I used to be a fan of Bastos back in his first season at Lyon but he has become awful over time. He has a wicked left foot and is a good dribbler but that's about it

No idea why Roma want him, too weak to play LB and they have better options for the wings 3 (Ljajic, Florenzi, Gervinho)

Doesn't really follow their 'youth' policy, but they do need players in those positions. Wouldn't have minded D'Ambrosio here, but he's obviously not going to be first choice.

D'Ambrosio is decent pretty much and Vucinic will have to be replaced soon enough. I hope for their own good they don't intend to play him as a starter but maybe he'll perform more consistently in a team like that.

Hehe, is he really going to Everton? Thought the Spammers wanted him? Obviously he's a fricking giant, but whenever I've seen him play I've thought he plays like a smaller man. Good with the ball at his feet, and a decent bit of speed once he gets going. Add that into a physical beast and you get a useful player.
