They have done well for Serie A standards though. With Jorginho and Capoue, they'd have a strong team for Serie A level. Many here expected Benitez to fail but i think he has come up with the goods so far considering Napoli had to transition to a new system compared to previous years.

Performed better in Europe than us too. :)
He's a good manager when given the right situation. He did pretty well with Chelsea last year even though everyone hated his guts.

They still went out in the first round ;)
But they did it with style instead of looking like a bunch of ninnies who are afraid of snow.

Why is it necessary to compare other teams signings to ours? Surely whatever Napoli are doing is good for them and their level. Jorginho with us would make no sense but for Napoli its actually a very good signing.

Although I really wish Callejon was a Juve player.

Comparing other signings to Juventus on a Juve forum. Who would have thought it!?

It's like comparing Bayern with Leverkusen.

Well according to some on here, Napoli's signings are superior to ours and their CL results confirm it for them.

This now reminds me of the Sabatini/Leonardi fapping days.
wth ?

Why are you making up things now ?

So is it wrong to credit them for their good signings now ? For their level/pulling power ,they've done well, way better than the Milan clubs.

Doing better than the Milan clubs...that's not much of an achievement these days. Fwiw, I thought Roma made much more superior moves in the transfer market last summer ( given their level and lack of European football), especially given they lost 3 very important players.

Inler is their only good player in midfield.Rest are pretty average. Also Behrami is out for a while ,so they clearly need some midfield reinforcements.

Defense is doing ok for Serie A level. They'd probably look into those issues over the summer.

And nobody is comparing them to Juve's signings, why do you get that impression ? I would agree Roma have done better than them in the market but Napoli are putting together a solid team as well.Whether or not they can challenge Juve for the scudetto in the coming years is another question altogether.

What is their level? Supposedly it is challenging for the scudetto for the past two seasons, so Juve should be a pretty good comparison, no?
