Yup, before Klose's injury last season they did really, really good. Good move for them either way. But even with this team they can't get top 4.
Nah, probably not.

A repeat of last season - good run in the EL, good run in the Coppa Italia and qualify for Europe one way or another - is probably the best they can do.

I thought they sold Kozak to Aston Villa
They were one of the teams mentioned, but it was all on hold until they got Yilmaz.

Why would Chelsea sell him when he was like the most efficient player? I know Hazard, Willian and others are all good, but it doesn't make much sense IMO.
Mata has been benched cos his defensive workrate is poor.Mou prefers those players who are very hardworking and track back.Willian is one of those. He was simply brought in to replace Mata.

Oezil is another guy who's a very lazy player and doesnt help in defense.

Yet Mourinho started him in practically every big match.
He had no other option.Chelsea have a hoard of AM's on the other hand.Lets just say that he prefers Oscar to Mata because the former's a decent player defensively.

Btw i dint mean to say Willian is been brought in as a direct replacement for Mata. But with one AM departing i'd assume they had to sign another.

Its bizzare that the two best creative attacking midfielders in the game, Mata and Özil, are being discarded by their clubs despite being amazingly productive 2 seasons in a row.
